Achimenes ‘AnYa’s Freckled Girl’

Achimenes ‘AnYa’s Freckled Girl’, 2021, IR211573, hybridized by Anna Yatsyshyna, Ukraine. (A. ‘Charm’  x  A. ‘Dot’). Cross made 06.2018, seeds planted 12.2018, first flowering 06.2019. Reproducible only vegetatively. Trailing habit, maroon stems 30 cm in length. Leaves dark green, maroon reverse, 5 cm long, 2.5 cm wide, 0.5 cm petiole, elliptic, with cuneate base, acute tip, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, green 1.5-1.7 cm. Length of the pedicel 1.5 cm. 1 flower per axil. Corolla salverform, most flowers peloric with 5-6 petals, 5 cm long, 5-5.5 cm wide. Corolla is fluorescent bright pink with white blotch in the center and with fuchsia colored mid-veins, dots and edges on the petals, throat with yellow eye.
