Primulina ‘CW’s Calmness Dream’

Primulina ‘CW’s Calmness Dream’, 2023, IR231848, hybridized by Wei-Chuen Chou, Long-Fei Fu, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. ronganensis x P. macrorhiza). Cross made 04.09.2019, seeds planted 06.23.2019, first flowering 04.29.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, ca.11 cm long, ca. 6 cm wide, 2-5 cm petiole, with obvious silvery veins, thick, fleshy, pubescent both surfaces, elliptic with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, smooth. Calyx split, green to pale brownish green, ca. 8 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 3.3 cm, ca. 6 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 5 cm long, ca. 1.8-2.3 cm wide, delicate pink to very light purple with yellow throat. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
