Primulina ‘CW’s Harvested Dream’

Primulina ‘CW’s Harvested Dream’, 2023, IR231844, hybridized by Zi-Bing Xin, Wei-Chuen Chou, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. liboensis f. alba x P.. qintangensis). Cross made 04.09.2019, seeds planted 07.23.2019, first flowering 03.29.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 10-13 cm long, 6-9 cm wide, 2-4 cm petiole, with obvious veins, leaf blade thickly chartaceous, ovate to orbicular, margin conspicuously serrate, apex obtuse, base broadly cuneate to cordate, rounded tip, smooth. Calyx split, green, ca. 10 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 3.3 cm, ca. 3 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3 cm long, 1.8-2.2 cm wide, corolla pale purple with obvious yellow honey guides and broad purple stripes. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
