Primulina ‘Zhou’s Purple Moonlight Dance’, 2021, IR211655, hybridized by Fang Wen, Yi-Gang Wei, Wei-Chuen Chou; Guangxi Institute of Botany; Guilin, China. (P. yungfuensis x P. jiuwanshanic)). Cross made 04.20.2019, seeds planted 11.11.2019, first flowering 04.30.2020. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem ca. 1-2 cm. Leaves green with silvery veins, forming plaques and nets, 6-7 cm long, 4.5-6 cm wide, 1-3 cm petiole, ovate to orbicular with cuneate base, rounded tip, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, slightly brownish green, ca. 8 mm. Length of the pedicel 1-2 cm, 2-3 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 2.0 cm long, ca. 1.6 cm wide, bright purple, throat having two brightly yellow and some purplish red stripes inside. Mid-size plant. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not over-fertilize and overwater, sensitive to cold.
