Primulina ‘Dan’s Pretty Girl’

Primulina ‘Dan’s Pretty Girl’, 2016, IR161320, Lai Bi-dan, Huang Yi-qin, Guangxi, China (P. macrorhiza  P. pungentisepala). Cross made 2.25.2013, planted 4.10.2013, and first flowered 3.12.2015.  Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette with1-2 cm stem.  Dark green leaves with light green veining with gray or white short soft hair, 8-10 cm long x 5.5-6.5 cm wide with 7-8 cm petiole, ovate with crenate margin, cuneate base and acute tip, hairy. Calyx split, green, 0.5-1 cm long. Pedicel 1-2 cm with 3-5 flowers. Corolla salverform, 4.5-5.5 cm long x 3.8-4.2 cm wide, lilac with double bright  yellow guidelines. This hybrid has some similarity with  the seed parent, but more compact. Easy to grow in a good indirect light in the temperature range 0-35C.
