Primulina ‘GCCC’s Crazy Titan’

Primulina ‘GCCC’s Crazy Titan’, 2021, IR211677, hybridized by Fang Wen, Yi-Gang Wei; Guangxi Institute of Botany; Guilin, China. (P. maculata x P. lutea). Cross made 05.12.2018, seeds planted 09.20.2018, first flowering 04.30.2020. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem 3-6 cm. Leaves dark green, 12-18 cm long, 9-11 cm wide, 6-8 cm petiole, elliptic with cuneate base, acute tip, entire margin, smooth. Calyx split, pale green to green ca. 10 mm. Length of the pedicel 1.0-1.2 cm, 12-18 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.5-4.0 cm long, 2.5-3 cm wide, pinkish purple, throat light brownish-yellow with some brown stripes. Very large plant size. Prefers bright scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); don’t overfertilize and overwater.
