Primulina ‘GCCC’s Purple Copper Emblem’, 2021, IR211692, hybridized by Fang Wen, Yi-Gang Wei; Guangxi Institute of Botany; Guilin, China. (P. suichuanensis x P. heterochroa). Cross made 04.24.2018, seeds planted 09.20.2018, first flowering 02.09.2020. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem 1-2 cm. Leaves green with indistinct greenish-white veins. If the light is strong, the mature leaves will change to purplish red, ca. 7.5 cm long, ca. 5.5 cm wide, 3-4 cm petiole, ovate with cuneate base, acute tip, entire margin, smooth. Calyx split, dark pink, ca. 10 mm. Length of the pedicel 1-2 cm, ca. 6 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3.5 cm long, ca. 1.8 cm wide, corolla tube purple, corolla lobes yellowish purple (purple bronze color). Medium plant size. Prefers bright scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); don’t overfertilize and overwater.
