Primulina ‘SCBG Flying Butterfly’, 2021, IR211584, hybridized by Chen Ling, Ning Zu-lin, Li Dong-mei, South China Botanical Garden, Guangzhou, China. (P. sp. x P. dryas). Cross made 06.15.2016, seeds planted 11.07.2016, first flowering 03.14.2018. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves moderate green, 14.5-18 cm long, 6.0-9.5 cm wide, 5-10 cm petiole, lanceolate with cuneate base, acuminate tip, undulate margin, bullate, hairy. Calyx split, reddish brown, 1.2-1.4 cm. Length of the pedicel 1-2 cm, 25-30 flowers per axil. Bracts ovate to lanceolate, green, 2.8-4.0 × 0.9-1.4 cm. Corolla salverform, 2.8-3.0 cm long, 1.4×1.8 cm wide, purplish pink, pale yellow with purple stripes at the throat, lobes revolute outward. It prefers a good natural light and moist substrate.
