Primulina ‘SCBG Rabbit’s Ears’, 2021, IR211587, hybridized by Chen Ling, Ning Zu-lin, Li Dong-mei, South China Botanical Garden, Guangzhou, China. Primulina eburnea chance seedling selection. Seeds planted 08.2018, first flowering 03.05.2020. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves dark green, 8-12 cm long, 3.5-5.5 cm wide, 4-5 cm petiole, ovate with cuneate base, acute tip, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, 9-11 mm. Length of the pedicel 1-2 cm, 7-10 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4.5-5.0 cm long, 1.2-1.4 cm wide, deep purple with light yellow stripes in a throat and strong orange filaments. Bracts broadly ovate,3.0-3.6×2.0-2.8 cm, light purple pink, reflexed. It prefers bright scattered natural light in the temperature range of 0-35℃, moist but well-drained substrate.
