Achimenes ‘SRG’s Maria’

Achimenes ‘SRG’s Maria’, 2022, IR221772, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. seedling HS-21-2010 x A. HS-003-2016). Cross made 05.2016, seeds planted 01.2017, first flowering 08.2017. Reproducible only vegetatively. Semi trailing habit, stem length 27 cm. Leaves green, 4 cm long, 4 cm wide, 1.5 cm petiole, acuminate tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, green, length 4 mm, length of the pedicel 1.5 cm, 4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, double bluish lavender with white in a center. Unusual blossom shape with fringed petals.
