Sinningia ‘Edward’

Sinningia ‘Edward’, 2017, IR171374, hybridized by by Andy Kuang, Australia. (S. ‘PK’s Nicole’ x S. guttata). Cross made 12/08/2012, planted 03/08/2013, and first flowered 11/11/2013.  Reproducible only vegetatively. Small basal to upright rosette, approximate size 80mm tall x 160mm wide, stem length 15mm. Leaves brownish green, shiny, 75mm long, 60mm wide, with 15mm petiole, ovate with cuneate base, serrate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, green, 5mm long. Pedicel 10mm long with 3-4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 45mm long x 30mm wide, pale mauve with deeper color on two top lobes with strong lines and dots on the throat.
