Sinningia ‘Misty C.’, 2021, IR211558, hybridized by Alcie Maxwell, LA, USA, Margery Anderson-Clive, Portugal. (S. ‘Clara Louise’ x S. ‘Owlsee Red Hot’). Cross made 07.20.2014, seeds planted 09.02.2014, first flowering 06.09.2015. Fertile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Upright habit, stem length 8.25 inch. Leaves dark green with red reverse, 2.75 inch long, 3.25 inch wide, 1.5 inch petiole, elliptic, with cordate base, acute tip, crenate margin, hairy. Calyx fused, blush 0.5 inch. Length of the pedicel 2.25 inch, 2 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, calyx double, 2 inch long, 1.6 inch wide, pink with light purple flush, dark purple dots and veining. Extremely floriferous, long lasting blossoms, requires bright light for compact growth.
