Sinningia ‘Tomyris’

Sinningia ‘Tomyris’, 2021, IR211617, hybridized by Pinar Sensilay, Turkey (S. ‘RF’s Cemile Gursel’ x S. guttata). Cross made 05.27.2019, planted 06.28.2019 and first flowered 09.18.2020. Reproducible only vegetatively. Erect growth habit, stem up to 30 cm long. Leaves green, reddish veining and reddish reverse, 10 cm long x 7 cm wide with 2 cm petiole, ovate with cordate base, crenate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, green, 2 cm long, pedicel 5 cm with 1 flower per axil. Corolla salveform, 5 cm long x 3.5 cm wide, purple with darker dots, pale yellow throat with purple dots and lines, slightly touch of white at the end of throat.
