Streptocarpus ‘Simon’s Mrs Jones’, 2015, IR151293, hybridized by Simon Jones, UK, (Unnamed seedling x S.’Bridie’). Cross made May 20, 2012, planted Oct.2012, and first flowered Jun 10, 2013. Fertile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves dark glossy green, 29 cm long x 10 cm wide with 5 cm petiole, linear with entire and smooth margin, oblique base and acute tip. Calyx green/dark purple, 9mm, fused. Pedicel 1cm, 7 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 6 cm long x 5.5 cm wide. dark pink/purple in color with dark pink/red and purple shades throughout the flower. Upper lobes are lighter color, ruffled and show netting. White throat with dark purple stripes.
