Primulina ‘SCBG Sunset Clouds’, 2021, IR211590, hybridized by Ning Zu-lin, Li Dong-mei, Chen Ling, South China Botanical Garden, Guangzhou, China. (P. versicolor x P. fengkaiensis). Cross made 03.20.2014, seeds planted 08.07.2014, first flowering 04.05.2016. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves moderate green, leathery, 14-21 cm long, 9-13 cm wide, 8-12 cm petiole, broad ovate with cuneate base, acute tip, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, brown, 1.2-1.4 cm. Length of the pedicel 2-4 cm, 5-9 flowers per axil. Bracts ovate,1.5-2 × 0.8-1.2 cm. Corolla salverform, 4.5-4.8 cm long, ca.1.5 cm wide, light yellow, lobes light purple, with orange yellow patch and reddish orange stripes in the throat. It prefers a good natural light and moist substrate.
