Your privacy, and the privacy of all users of www.gesneriadsociety.org, is of the highest priority.

If you request information from www.gesneriadsociety.org, or through any of our email addresses, or submit an online contact form, or place an order through our shopping cart, we use the information you submit to fulfill your requests (such as sending informational materials, filling your order, or responding to specific inquiries). Any personal identifying information you may submit is not stored on servers used by The Gesneriad Society.

We do not sell, rent, exchange, or disclose our client lists or information about our website users, except to the limited extent necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of our Society, our members, or others, or to comply with applicable law. In the event of dissolution of the Society, all member data will be destroyed.

The Gesneriad Society employs methods to track usage of the website. With respect to content designated as available for download for educational purposes, Gesneriad Society members, gesneriad hobbyists, chapters, and other gesneriad organizations, librarians, teachers, support staff, administrators, and other staff of educational institutions are authorized to download, print, reproduce, and distribute such content as may be beneficial for use in educational settings. This authorization extends only as far as is necessary to directly benefit students and hobbyists, and in general to further the hobby of gesneriad growing. Content subject to this section may not be disseminated beyond these applications and may under no circumstances be used for commercial purposes. The display of content that is owned or licensed by The Gesneriad Society may only be done with the prior written permission of the Webmaster.

The website is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is not intended for or directed at persons under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, you may not register or submit personally identifiable information to or through the website. The Gesneriad Society does not collect personally identifiable information through the website from any person The Gesneriad Society actually knows to be under the age of 18.
