Primulina ‘CW’s Magnificent Dream’, 2023, IR231856, hybridized by Wei-Chuen Chou, Zi-Bing Xin, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. sinovietnamica x P. heterochroa). Cross made 07.12.2019, seeds planted 12.23.2019, first flowering 08.25.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, ca. 8 cm long, ca. 5 cm wide, 2-5 cm petiole, with obvious silvery veins, thick, fleshy, pubescent both surfaces, ovate with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, dark brown, ca. 10 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 3.5 cm, 4 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3.5 cm long, ca. 2.3 cm wide, outside of the corolla dark purple, inside yellow with purple spots. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
