Kohleria ‘Peridots Toucan’, 2023, IR231880, registered by Iain James, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. (K. 19-C104-4 x K. ‘Peridots Vulcan’). Cross made 11.2020, seeds planted 03.2021, first flowering 08.2021. Male sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Compact erect habit, stem length 20 cm. Leaves dark green (RHS136A), 10 cm long, 5 cm wide, 7.5 cm petiole, elliptic with acute tip, cordate base, crenate margin, hairy. Calyx split, light yellow green (RHS150B) 12.5 mm. Length of the pedicel 5 cm. 4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 5 cm long x 2.5 cm wide, orange red (RHS39B) shading into orange red (RHS41B) with orange red dots (RHS41B).
