Primulina ‘Grace’

Primulina ‘Grace’, 2023, IR231884, hybridized by Haixia Yan, Dayan Tao, Jinye Zhou, Shikai Guan; Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Nanning, China. ((P. guizhongensis x P. leprosa) x P/. longgangensis). Cross made 11.01.2019, seeds planted 12.19.2019, first flowering 10.31.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves greyish olive green, 8.4-12.6 cm long, 2.9-5.2 cm wide, 2.4-4.4 cm petiole, linear with acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, light brown, 3-5 mm. Length of the pedicel 2.2-2.9 cm, 4-10 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 2.4-2.8 cm long, 0.9-1.0 cm wide, light purplish pink. The plants require bright light and dry conditions. Intolerant to waterlogging.
