Petrocosmea ‘Keystone’s Bantam’

Petrocosmea ‘Keystone’s Bantam’, 2009, IR091096, Tim Tuttle, PA. (P. rosettifolia x P. sericea). Cross made Jan. 6, 2008, planted Mar. 1, 2008 and first flowered Nov. 16, 2008. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively. Compact rosette. Leaves hairy, bullate, glossy, deep green with light green center, 18 mm long x 16 mm wide with 9 mm petiole, orbicular with crenate margin, rounded tip and cuneate base. Calyx split, medium green 3 mm long. Pedicel 60 mm with one flower per leaf axil. Corolla rotate, 18 mm long x 19 mm wide, white with green-yellow center. Growth habit is smaller than either parent, leaves smaller than either parent with form and coloration of rosettifolia.
