Primulina ‘CW’s Gorgeous Dream’, 2023, IR231832, hybridized by Zi-Meng Yang, Wei-Chuen Chou, Fang Wen; Guilin University of Technology; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. sp.nov x P. colaniae). Cross made 04.19.2019, seeds planted 07.23.2019, first flowering 04.16.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green with silvery veins and obvious reddish purple pubescent hairs on both surfaces, ca. 12 cm long, 3-7 cm wide, 2-4 cm petiole, thick, fleshy, margin conspicuously serrate, elliptic, acute tip, cuneate base, hairy. Calyx split, pale green to green, ca. 10 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 3.3 cm, ca. 3 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3 cm long, 1.8-2.3 cm wide, purple with white throat. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
