Primulina ‘CW’s Quiet Dream’

Primulina ‘CW’s Quiet Dream’, 2023, IR231847, hybridized by Wei-Chuen Chou, Yi-Gang Wei, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. ( ). Cross made 04.09.2019, seeds planted 06.23.2019, first flowering 04.17.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, ca.7 cm long, ca. 4.5 cm wide, 2-4 cm petiole, with obvious veins, thick, fleshy, glabrous both surfaces, ovate with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, smooth. Calyx split, green, ca. 8 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 3 cm, ca. 5 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3.5 cm long, ca. 2 cm wide, delicate pink with purplish pink stripes inside. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
