Primulina ‘CW’s Wilderness Dream’

Primulina ‘CW’s Wilderness Dream’, 2023, IR231845, hybridized by Wei-Chuen Chou, Yi-Gang Wei, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. macrorhiza x P. linearicalyx). Natural hybrid from the field, first flowering 06.17.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, ca.15 cm long, 3-6 cm wide, 2-5 cm petiole, with obvious veins, thick, fleshy, pubescent both surfaces, linear, with acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, dark green, ca. 8 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 3 cm, ca. 6 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 4 cm long, 2-2.5 cm wide, corolla whitish pink with very pale purple shading. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
