Primulina ‘Dan’s Amethyst’

Primulina ‘Dan’s Amethyst’, 2019, IR191472, hybridized by Lai Bi-dan and Huang Yi-qing; Nanning, China. (P. yungfuensis x P. lijiangensis). Cross made 09/15/2015, seeds planted 10/13/2015, first flowered 06.06.2017. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, length of the stem 1-2 cm. Leaves olive green, 7-10 cm long, 5-6.5 cm wide, 4-5 cm long petiole, ovate with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, yellow green, 0.5-0.7 cm long. Pedicel 1.5-1.8 cm long with 4-6 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3-3.5 cm long x 1.5-2 cm wide, light purple with several dark purple guidelines inside. Easy to grow, suitable to a very good light but not direct sun, temperature range is 0-30℃.
