Primulina ‘Flower of Gold Mountain’, 2020, IR201479, hybridized by Fang Wen; Yi-Gang Wei; Chen-Yang Zhao, Guilin, China. (P. diffusa x P. longgangensis). Natural pollination Sept.2016, seeds planted Dec.2016, first flowered 10.29.2017 in a natural habitat. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Spreading habit, stem length 10-13cm. Leaves green, thick, fleshy, villous both surfaces, 3.5-4.5 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, 2-4 cm long petiole, elliptic with oblique to cuneate base, entire margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, yellowish green 5-6.5 mm long. Pedicel 1-1.2 cm long with ca.8 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 5 cm long x 2.2-2.5 cm wide, purple. Prefers bright scattered natural light, moist but well drained calcium rich substrate (pH equal or above 7), do not overfertilize.
