Primulina ‘Jen’s Asteroid Belt’

Primulina ‘Jen’s Asteroid Belt’, 2022, IR221829, hybridized by Jennifer Vincent; Bennington, NE, USA. (P. petrocosmeoides x P. huangii). Cross made 08.2020, seeds planted 09.2020, first flowering 05.2021. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves medium green, 4 cm long, 4 cm wide, 5 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, medium green, 5 mm. Length of the pedicel 10 cm, 6 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 1.5 cm long, 1.5 cm wide, fuschia-lilac with reddish purple stripes separating the petals. Best grown is a single crown plant.
