Primulina ‘Peach Beauty’

Primulina ‘Peach Beauty’, 2018, IR181410, hybridized by Shu Li, Yi-Gang Wei, Fang Wen; Guangxi, China. (P. lutvittata x P. repanda). Cross made 12.04.2014, seeds planted 03.16.2015, first flowered 05.25.2017. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves green, 5-12 cm long, 3-7 cm wide with 4-5 cm petiole, ovate with cuneate base, undulate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, green, 0.4-0.6 cm long. Pedicel 0.7-1.1 cm long with 7-11 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 1-1.2 cm long x 0.8-1 cm wide, fuschia and white. This variety is shade-tolerant, does its best in a bright scattered light, prefers moist well drained substrate, can’t take temperature below freezing.
