Primulina ‘Star’, 2019, IR191462, hybridized by Hai-xia Yan, Zi-bin Zhang, Xue-qiang Cui, Zhao-yang Bu; Nanning, China. (P. tribracteata (W. T. Wang) Mich. Möller & A.Weber var. tribracteata x P. liujiangensis (D. Fang & D.H. Qin) Yan Liu). Cross made 05.05.2017, seeds planted 06.26.2017, first flowered 05.05.2019. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves green with white reticulate veins, 7.1-10.2 cm long, 5.8-9.2 cm wide, 2.6-4.0 cm long petiole, ovate with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, green, 0.7-0.9 cm long. Pedicel 1.4-2.4 cm long with 1-4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.7-4.3 cm long x 1.2-1.3 cm wide. Corolla purplish. Easy grower, prefers bright scattered natural light, moist but well-drained substrate, temperature range is 0-37℃.
