Primulina ‘GCCC’s Purple Swallow’, 2021, IR211686, hybridized by Fang Wen, Yi-Gang Wei; Guangxi Institute of Botany; Guilin, China. (P. petrocosmeoides x P. linglingensis var. fragrans). Cross made 04.10.2018, seeds planted 09.20.2018, first flowering 03.16.2020. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem 1-2.5 cm. Leaves green, 6-9 cm long, 3-3.5 cm wide, 2-3 cm petiole, oblong with cuneate base, acute tip, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, dark green, ca. 3 mm. Length of the pedicel 2-3 cm, 5-9 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 3.5 cm long, ca. 2.4 cm wide, pale bluish purple with purple plaques and two yellow stripes. Medium plant size. Prefers bright scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); don’t overfertilize and overwater
