Primulina ‘Spring Colors’

Primulina ‘Spring Colors’, 2020, IR201511, hybridized by Haixia Yan, Jinye Zhou, Dayan Tao, Jieling Deng, Nanning, China. (P. liguliformis  x  P. purpurea). Cross made 04.06.2017, seeds planted 05.05.2017, first flowered 03.15.2019. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 11.2-19.2 cm long, 5.4-13.1 cm wide, 2.0-8.3 cm long petiole, ovate with cuneate base, serrate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, green with brown, 0.6-1.4 cm long. Pedicel 1.0-2.0 cm long with 6-16 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4.8-6.0 cm long x 1.3-1.6 cm wide, purplish to purple. Requires shady and damp condtions. Optimal temperature range 20-28℃.
