Primulina ‘CW’s Swan Dream’

Primulina ‘CW’s Swan Dream’, 2023, IR231853, hybridized by Long-Fei Fu, Wei-Chuen Chou, Fang Wen; Guangxi Institute of Botany & Gesneriads Conservation Center of China; Guilin, China. (P. halongensis x P. fimbrisepala). Cross made 04.07.2019, seeds planted 07.23.2019, first flowering 04.17.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves dark green, ca. 4.5 cm long, ca. 3.5 cm wide, 2-5 cm petiole, with obvious veins, thick, fleshy, orbicular with acute tip, cordate base, crenate margin, hairy. Calyx split, dark green, ca. 8 mm. Length of the pedicel ca. 3.3 cm, 8 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 2 cm long,1.8-2 cm wide, bluish purple. Prefers brightly scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); do not overfertilize and overwater.
