Primulina ‘Yuyang’s Phecda’
Primulina ‘Yuyang’s Phecda’, 2023, IR231865, hybridized by Yuyang Lei, Haixia Yan, Shikai Guan, Dayan Tao; Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Nanning, China. (P. papillosa x P. yungfuensis). Cross made 04.07.2022, seeds planted 05.16.2022, first flowering 10.23.2022. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 6.7-7.7 cm long, 3.1-3.6 cm wide, 1.2-2.7 cm petiole, elliptic with acute tip, cuneate base, crenate margin, hairy. Calyx split, light green, 6-7 mm. Length of the pedicel 2.3-3.1 cm, 4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4.7-5.0 cm long, 3.0-3.1 cm wide, purplish. Prefers bright light, can tolerate heat and drought. The soil is required to be loose and breathable.
