Sinningia ‘Malu’s Scattered Rubies’

Sinningia ‘Malu’s Scattered Rubies’, 2024, IR241986, hybridized by Margery Anderson-Clive, Portugal. (S. ‘Country Justice’  x  S. ‘Ugly Girl’). Cross made 07.24.2021, seeds planted 09.04.2021, first flowering 02.18.2022. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Compact miniature rosette, stem length 1/4 inch. Leaves shiny dark green with red reverse, 1.5 inch long, 1 inch wide, 1/4 inch petiole, orbicular with acute tip, cordate base, crenate margin. Calyx split, medium green with darker tips, length 1/8 inch wide. Length of the pedicel 1/2 inch, 2-3 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform 3/4 inch long, 3/4 inch wide, frilly edged bright pink, dark red rays/dots, spotted yellow throat.
