Sinningia ‘Peridots Bright Beam’, 2023, IR231899, hybridized by Iain James, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. (S. ‘Peridots Red Hot’ x S. 19-C75-2). Cross made 12.2020, seeds planted 07.2021, first flowering 11.2021. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal multi-crowning rosette, stem length 10cm. Leaves light yellow green (RHS 149A) irregularly splotched in light yellow green (RHS 2C), 8 cm long, 7.5 cm wide, 4 cm petiole, orbicular with rounded tip, cordate base, crenate to undulate margin, bullate. Calyx split, brown green (RHS 152D), 12.5 mm. Length of the pedicel 7.5 cm, 6-8 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4.5 cm long, 2.5 cm wide, red (RHS 45A) overall, shading firstly dark pink red (RHS 53C) and then subsequently into dark pink red (RHS 51B). Variegated cultivar exhibiting unique flower and foliage color and textural combinations.
