Sinningia ‘Diva’, 2011, IR111174, Thad Scaggs, FL. (S, MNKG2 x S. ‘Playful Porpoise’). Cross made Mar. 4, 2009, planted July 13, 2009. Pollen fertile, reproducible onlyt vegetatively. Tuberous with upright spreading growth. Leaves smooth, medium dark green, 4 in. long x 3 in. wide with 1.75 in. petiole, orbicular with crenate margin, acute tip and cordate base. Calyx double, leafy, fused with deep scalloping and 1 or 2 splits, 1.75 in. long, red-pink outer petals fading toward base, inside light purple above, lower white with purple streaks, all segments edged with purple pink spotting.. Pedicel 1.5 in. long, 3-4 flowers per leaf axil. Corolla salverform, 1.75 in. long x 1.5 in. wide, outer surface lavender pink fading to lighter pink at base, inner purple upper petals, lower purple pink with varying amount of white, throat purple with with darker streaks, thin purple picotee with occasional spotting.
