Sinningia ‘Emperor-Shu’s Dark-Purple’, 2022, IR221705, hybridized by Hao Yanling; Chengdu Agricultural College; Chengdu, Sichuan, China. [S. ‘Hector’s Dark Knight’ x (S. ‘Hector’s Dark Knight’ x S. ‘Elegant White’)]. Cross made 06.20.2017, seeds planted 01.09.2018, first flowering 07.20.2018. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem 6-7 cm. Leaves dark green with pubescence, 6.8-7.8 cm long, 5-6.4 cm wide, 2.4-3 cm petiole, ovate with cordate to cuneate base, acute tip, crenate margin, smooth. Calyx split, green, 2-3 cm. Length of the pedicel 3-4 cm, 6-8 flowers per axil. Corolla peloric, 2-3 cm long, 3-4 cm wide, dark purple petals with white inside corolla tube. Requires fertilizer before flowering, it has low-temperature and shade resistance.
