Sinningia ‘Rock Futures’

Sinningia ‘Rock Futures’, 2018, IR181401, hybridized by Jay Sespico, FL. (S. Charles Lawn’s seedling x S. ‘Rock Loves Dale’). Cross made 08.01.2016, planted 01.27.2017, and first flowered 10.12.2017.  Reproducible only vegetatively. S.speciosa type (basal rosette). Leaves green, 8 in. long, 5 in. wide, with 2.5 in. petiole, elliptic with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, green,1.5 in. long. Pedicel 4 in. long with 1 flower per axil. Corolla salverform 3.5 in. long x over 4 in. wide, alabaster with pink lobes and dark rose-pink spots with a white edge.
