Sinningia ‘Savan’

Sinningia ‘Savan’, 2019, IR191440, hybridized by Ahmet Levent Cerci, Turkey. (S. sellovii x S. aggregata yellow). Cross made 07.21.2017, seeds planted 08.27.2017, first flowered Dec. 2017. Reproducible only vegetatively. Upright habit, stem 60 cm tall and more, indeterminate growth with branching. Leaves green with light green reverse, 10.5 cm long, 7 cm wide, 1.2 cm petiole, elliptic, bullate with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, green, 10 mm long. Pedicel 3 cm long with 1-2 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3 cm long, 1.5 cm wide, yellow inside with red streaks and dots on the lobes, salmon orange outside.
