Reproducible only vegetatively. Rhizomatous, erect to 35 cm tall if not pinched. Leaves dark red-green, densely covered with red hairs, 15 cm long x 10 cm wide, with 5 cm petiole, ovate with serrate margin, acute tip and cordate base. Calyx split, red-green, 6 mmlong, pedicel 3.8 cm long. Corolla salverform, 4.5 cm long x 2.5 cm wide, outer tube is white or pale magenta, face of tube white with huge magenta dots.
