Smithiantha ‘Junko’. 1996, IR96499, Masaki Yamagata, Kyoto, Japan, (S. ‘Santa Kulala’ x S. ‘Dent Vieux’). First bloomed February 1995.Compact, erect, 63 cm. Leaves lime green (147 A), dark green around veins,11.4 cm long, 11.2 cm wide, 8 cm petiole. Leaves orbicular with acute tip and cordate base, wavy margin. Calyx split, 3 mm long. Pedicel 24mm, with up to 50 flowers per inflorescence. Corolla campanulate, 30 mm long, 20 mm wide, pale orange outside (29B), inside (27D).
