Streptocarpus ‘Annabel Rae’

Streptocarpus ‘Annabel Rae’, 2011, IR111156, Ray Annabel, US. (S. ‘Lavender Rosette’ x S.  ‘Silvia’). Cross made Sept. 12, 2009, planted Jan. 14, 2010, and first flowered Aug. 28, 2010. Reproducible only vegetatively. Semicircular rosette with leaves between upright and flat. Leaves medium green, 6.5 in. long x 2.5 in. wide, elliptic with crenate margin, acute tip and cuneate base.
Calyx medium green. Split, 0.25 in. long. 2-4 flowers per peduncle. Corolla salverform with ruffled edges, upper petals lavender, lower petals white, throat lined with various shades of lavender, darkest in center.  Received Red Ribbon with score of 94 points at LIAGS Little Show May 14, 2011.
