Streptocarpus ‘Franken Burgundy Lady’

Streptocarpus ‘Franken Burgundy Lady’, 2009, IR091104, Frank Davies, UK. (S. ‘Franken Mulberry Lady’ x self). Cross made 2005, planted Jan. 2006 and first flowered Sept. 2006. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively. Rosette. Leaves medium green, smooth, up to 12 in. long x 3 in. wide, elliptic with crenate margin, acute tip and cordate base. Calyx green, ¼ in. long. 3-5 flowers per 8 in. peduncle.  Corolla salverform, 2 ¼ in. long x 1 ¼ in. wide, white, with burgundy lacing, deeper on centers of lower three lobes.
