Streptocarpus ‘Franken Lyndee’

Streptocarpus  ‘Franken Lyndee’, 2013, IR131208, Frank Davies, UK. (S. ‘Katie’ x S.  ‘Franken Mulberry Lady’ selfed, seedling #2). Cross made 2008, planted and first flowered 2009. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively. Rosette. Leaves dark green, to 9 in. long x 3 in. wide, oblong with crenate margin, acute tip and cuneate base. Calyx green, split, 0.25 in. long. Peduncle to 10 in. tall with 6 to 10 flowers. Corolla salverform, 1 in. long x 1.5 in. wide, outer surface white, 3 lower lobes claret red with dark veins, upper petals white, veined claret, darker at tips.
