Streptocarpus ‘Fred’s Jeffrey Bean’

Streptocarpus ‘Fred’s Jeffrey Bean’, 2013, IR131225, Fred Bellairs, MI. (S. ‘Keigetsu’ x S. ‘Fashion Statement’). Cross made May 12, 2012, planted July 1, 2012 and first flowered Feb. 2013. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively. Compact rosette. Leaves bullate, dark green, 5 in. long x 3 in. wide, elliptic with crenate margin, acute tip and cuneate base. Calyx split, green. Corolla salverform, 1.5 – 2 in. in diameter, light purple with dark blue picotee edging on all lobes, with lighter blue netting on bottom lobes, two yellow lines extend from throat.
