Streptocarpus ‘Fred’s Yellow Ice’

Streptocarpus ‘Fred’s Yellow Ice’, 2013, IR 131228, Fred Bellairs, MI. (S. ‘Keigetsu’ x S. ‘Fashion Statement’). Cross made June 20, 2012, planted Aug. 24, 2012 and first flowered Mar. 12, 2013. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively. Large rosette. Leaves bullate, medium to dark green, 8 in. long x 4 in. wide, oblong with crenate margin, rounded tip and cuneate base. Calyx split, green. Pedicel 7 in. with 2-3 flowers. Corolla salverform, 1 in. long x 2 in. wide, pale yellow with deeper yellow throat, purple lines from deep in throat onto all lobes, becoming spots at edge.
