Streptocarpus ‘Ronduls Konnie’

Streptocarpus ‘Ronduls Konnie’, 2011 IR111168, Ron Clarke, England. (S. ‘Frankens Borderline’ x S. ‘Frankens Dainty Lady’). Cross made June 2004, planted Sept. 2004 and first flowered May 2005. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively. Medium to large well rounded rosette. Leaves bullate, mid-green, 24 cm long x 9 cm wide, elliptic with crenate margin, acute tip and cuneate base. Calyx green, split, 5 mm. 2 to 8 flowers per 1-3 cm peduncle. Corolla salverform, 5 cm long x 5.5 cm wide, outside white, face spotted and veined purple madder on white background with a white border around all lobes. Tube white with 7 darker purple broken lines emerging out on bottom lobes. Available from hybridizer or Frank Davies.
