Download a sample copy here.xAchicodonia ‘Tyche’. 1981, IR81219, Frances Batcheller, NH. (E. ‘Frances’ x A. mexicana). Cross made 1979, first flowered 1980. Clone, vegetatively propagated. Leaves dark bronze-green, red reverse, ovate. Corolla purple (RHS 79C) with strongly contrasting white throat, 3 cm in diameter, 3.5 cm. long. Differs from E. ‘Frances’ in darker corolla color, shorter peduncles and more erect growth form. Differs from A. mexicana in darker leaf, much more compact growth. Plant is about 15 cm tall.
