Achimenes ‘SRG’s Cytro’

Achimenes ‘SRG’s Cytro’, 2022, IR221782, hybridized by Serge Saliba, Bucharest, Romania. (A. unnamed seedling  x  A. unnamed seedling). Cross made 04.2009, seeds planted 02.2010, first flowering 08.2010. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Erect to trailing habit, stem length 17 cm. Leaves green, 4 cm long, 4 cm wide, 2 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin. Calyx split, green, length 4 mm, length of the pedicel 2 cm, 2 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, double, 3 cm long, 6 cm wide, double yellow blooms with a beautiful pink edge on the petals. Extremely floriferous and suitable to any growing conditions.
