Kohleria ‘Elf’s Huzun’

Kohleria ‘Elf’s Huzun’, 2021, IR211593, hybridized by Elif Cabar, Turkey. (K. ‘Rit’s Blurred’ x K. ‘Ni’s Mitzie’). Cross made 02.2020, seeds planted 08.2020, first flowering 04.2021. Reproducible only vegetatively. Upright habit with some branching. Leaves dark green with red leaf edge and black veins, 12 cm long, 8 cm wide, 4 cm petiole, elliptic, with cuneate base, acute tip, serrate margin. Calyx split, green 6 mm. 2 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3 cm long, 2 cm wide, intense wine-purple color, large wine-purple spots on white background. Outside of the tube is orange.
