Kohleria ‘HS’s Evelyn’

Kohleria ‘HS’s Evelyn’, 2020, IR221738, registered by Ahmet Hilmi Sekitmen, Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. (K. ‘Ni’s Claire’ x K. ‘HCY’s Astrologer’). Cross made 03.21.2019, seeds planted 01.22.2021, first flowering 05.08.2021. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Upright habit. Leaves dark green, 15 cm long, 8 cm wide, 2.3 cm petiole, elliptic, with acute tip, crenate margin. Calyx split, green 20 mm. Length of the pedicel 3 cm, 3-5 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 2.5 cm long x 4.5 cm wide, dark burgundy red spots on white background, raspberry red tube. Medium size plant, easy to grow variety, lots of pollen, large rhizomes.
